Leo Loukas - Chicago Counselor and Therapists

A graduate from Northwestern University’s Counseling Psychology Master’s Program, Leo Loukas has been practicing in Chicago and surrounding Suburbs since 2004. Over the years, he has worked in a variety of settings and populations. Originally working with the chronically mentally ill in a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program (PSR), he taught and directly assisted individuals to reintegrate themselves into functioning members of society.

Leo transitioned from that program to begin working with individuals, couples, and families in a traditional counseling setting. His work focused on solution oriented therapy which yielded positive and long-lasting change for his clients.

He then began working with children and adolescents in crisis as a Screening Assessment Support Services (SASS) clinician in the Chicago land area. His work centered on facilitating hospitalization and intense solution focused therapy to help restore healthy functioning on his clients. During that time he also worked as an Individual Care Grant (ICG) Coordinator assisting recipients of the grant to link with services in their community or coordinate placement in residential facilities.

In 2011, Leo began a private practice in the River North area of Chicago called Chicago Therapy Solutions, where he has implemented his years of dedication and practice in solution focused therapy to provide high quality and effective counseling services. As one of the top therapists in Chicago, Leo is adept at employing Therapeutic, Coaching, and Couples Therapy techniques to create happier, healthier and deeper people and relationships.

All of these unique experiences have provided him with the tools to assist a wide range of clients requiring varying degrees of need. Leo Loukas is a proficient and versatile therapist, and proven himself to be one of Chicago’s most dedicated counselors.
